Peak Oil Prevalence

The Oil Drum has a good post up comparing blog references to the term "peak oil" compared to other oil related phrases like "saudi oil" and "OPEC".

Peak Oil is clearly becoming a hot topic out in the general blogosphere, as the graph shows.

Note the blip on March 16. As I recall, lots of bloggers, me included, paid special attention to that day. Interesting how it will pan out in the future.

Good point - I hadn't even thought to go back and look and what caused it - but looking back at that day it certainly was a big news day (prompting my "Time To Head For the Hills ?" post the next day.
